https://sexgol.netlify.app/udaya-tv-kannada-serials.html. One of the very first claims made by the authors is that this edition (the 10th) was “carefully reviewed and updated to present current thinking, research, and trends in practice” (Corey, Corey, and Corey, 2019). However, much like the webpage for the Commission for Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC), Corey et al (2019) continue to showcase outdated and inaccessible models of ethical decision making. While Corey et al (2019) do not embrace a particular ethical decision-making model, t

I'll be updating my copy to the 8th edition as soon as it arrives, but the essential text is pretty similar to the 5th edition I read in graduate school. It's a pretty decent foundation for understanding ethical guidelines for therapists, and does a good job of conveying the complexities of ethical decision making. The self-inventories at the beginning of each chapter is a clever structure to make sure readers are thinking about the material as they go along, it could be a little less clunky and..more
Can anyone really give 5 stars to a book about ethics? It sounds boring and I was certainly not wanting to read it, but I was actually fascinated by the small things that are important to know when helping others. It gave me a different perspective about Aaron's role as a doctor as well. Maybe I'm a nerd. I liked it.
I had to read this for my Ethics class in my BA for Psychology school. This book is great!!!!! It relates the information in an easy format, applies what is learned to real life scenarios, and makes the class all that more interesting! If you are required to read this book for school, you are in good hands!

I felt this book was very repetitive. The information is solid, it just doesn’t need to be restated so many times.
One of the more informative textbooks that I plan to keep as it has plenty of references for future use. It was an easy read and contained a lot of different case studies and points of discussion to offer direction in a social worker's practice.

Repetitive. There's some useful information, but I think the whole book could be cut down significantly.
Easy to read, well-organized and great case samples but each chapter was very repetitive and could have been half the length.

Pretty tedious to get through and I don't feel like I learned anything new in the process.

This was an EXCELLENT choice for my undergraduate Introduction to Clinical Psychology class. While the first half of the class was structured to introduce students to the various issues/ethics involved in being a therapist, the 2nd half was devoted to looking at what some the of the benefits and challenges are to working with clients. There was no way, I believe, to demonstrate just how complex it is to sit (as a therapist) with another person, without first introducing students to ethical stand..more

I taught an Ethics Class for Mental Health providers (graduate level students) and reviewed a number of books. This was my final choice as it was well organized, clear, had relevant examples, and clearly provided a framework as to how to ethically, professionally and professional conduct clinical business and working with clients. I did find the examples (case studies) good launching points to discuss in class and to present dilemmas for students to work through. Again, as we are dealing with st..more
As a guide to maintaining the ethical balance as one helps another to live their lives in reasonable levels of comfort, accessing resources in a fair and equitable manner, this book is well written. The self directed questions facilitates active thinking about choices, actions and consequences and its relationship to intention.

Textbook for class. I count it toward my total for the year since I read it cover to cover. It's a good text to get you thinking about your own personal beliefs vs those of your profession.

Re-read this guy for my law and ethics exam for licensure. Still relevant and informing. A little dry at times but provided adequate case examples which are applicable to real life practice.
Good to have for those tough situations

Extremely dry text and I feel like I read the same sentence over and over.
Tailored to counselors/therapists, but good general information for anyone wanting a model for ethical decision-making.

Enjoyed the examples and case studies that applied an ethical decision making process. Also good questions to get us thinking about our own ethical standpoints.
